The Sun Never Rises in the Big City by Jeremy C. Shipp
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a great short story, one I would love to read as a full length novel. It is basically about a 'detective' trying to find a murderer, but the setting in which the characters lived was pretty unique. There were quite distinct social classes that the story isn't quite long enough for you to grasp the whole concept of, but we got an overview of the almost dystopian setting, just enough to tantalize. There are so many places this story could be taken, and I will be looking for more from this author.
