I was anxiously awaiting The Forever Song with both excitement and sadness. Excited to find out what happened to the characters I loved, and sad to see the story end. I was not disappointed by this last installment.
Allison Sekemoto as a vampire walks a fine line between human and monster. After the death of Zeke, her love and her tie to humanity, she is firmly across the line to monster. Or is she? Allison with the help of her maker, Kanin, and her blood brother, Jackal, are on the trail of Sarren, the vampire who killed Zeke and plans to destroy the world. Will they be able to stop Sarren?
I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster reading this book. Emotions ranging from love, heart-ache, loss, sadness, vengeance, laughter, happiness and despair. Allison struggled with the loss of Zeke and her hope for humanity. I enjoyed Jackal's banter. It gave this otherwise dark story some levity. It was a great end to an outstanding series.
