Rosemary Cottage (Hope Beach #2) by Coleen Coble

Rosemary Cottage (Hope Beach #2)Rosemary Cottage by Colleen Coble
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a ARC copy from NetGalley.

Rosemary Cottage reads like a cross between a Nicholas Spark's novel and a James Patterson's novel. It is a great read full of mystery and intrigue that will keep you guessing until the end. You will not want to put it down.

Amy Lang can't accept her brother Ben's death as an accident. She goes to Hope Beach to look into his death. During this investigation Amy will uncover more than she bargained for. Curtis Ireland is dealing with his own grief from the death of his sister Gina. Together maybe they can come to terms with the deaths of their siblings and prove if their deaths were accidental or not.

Do we really know our love ones? Are we sometimes blinded by that love and refuse to see the things that are right in front of us? These are questions both Amy and Curtis will face. Amy has a loving spirit, always willing to help others. Curtis risks his life everyday as part of the rescue team of the Coast Guard. Both are strong characters. This story grabbed my attention from the very first page and I highly recommend it!

One Less Warlock by Judith Post

One Less Warlock by Judith Post My rating: 4 of 5 stars I think it's hard in a short story to create a unique setting, characters, etc., and still get some sort of story line in. In One Less Warlock, Judith did an excellent job of molding the story in such a way that we got a taste of a distinct world and character personalities, and a complete story to go with it. In this short story Judith was able to pack in witches, vampires, a sexy Were, succubus, voodoo, murder, and mystery, all in only about 20 pages. Pretty amazing. I enjoyed the story and Babet, the main character, and am looking forward to more of her in the future. View all my reviews
