Simon (Le Beau Brothers, #2) Simon by V.A. Dold

Simon (Le Beau Brothers, #2)Simon by V.A. Dold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Simon is the kind of guy that makes female hearts everywhere go pitter patter. Because how do you make a werewolf better? Make him a soldier. That's really the only way. We met Simon in book one of this series. He was that character who made you wonder about him, want to find out more about him, eager to get inside his head and his heart. And once you learn more about him, you cannot help but fall in love. Trapped in his wolf form, Simon needed someone to help heal him.

Rose is another one of those great female leads. She is most certainly not perfect, but that's what makes her so great. She is a real woman with real problems…of course she's got a sexy werewolf to help her out with some of those. I don't have a werewolf. Life just isn't fair.

V.A. Dold is very good at characters. She is able to bring them to life and make us, the readers, care about them. I love it when an author can do that. While each of these books is a complete story within itself, I would recommend reading Cade before this one, first because it was a good story and second because it will give you a little bit more of the back story. These stories are fun, sweet, and sexy all rolled into one.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

One Less Warlock by Judith Post

One Less Warlock by Judith Post My rating: 4 of 5 stars I think it's hard in a short story to create a unique setting, characters, etc., and still get some sort of story line in. In One Less Warlock, Judith did an excellent job of molding the story in such a way that we got a taste of a distinct world and character personalities, and a complete story to go with it. In this short story Judith was able to pack in witches, vampires, a sexy Were, succubus, voodoo, murder, and mystery, all in only about 20 pages. Pretty amazing. I enjoyed the story and Babet, the main character, and am looking forward to more of her in the future. View all my reviews
