The first installment of this series definitely grabbed my attention. While there was not a lot of action in this installment, the author did an excellent job of building anticipation for what is to come. Told through timeline jumps between the present and the MC's childhood, this installment was an introduction to Lilly. It gave us a lot of insight into who she is, where she came from, and what we can expect from her. And from what we know we can be certain she is not going down without a fight.

Waking up in an unfamiliar room and unable to leave, Lilly must put together the pieces of the puzzle to figure out where she is and why, and if she can survive what is coming.

I am looking forward to installment two of this series to see where the author takes the story and how Lilly what is to come.
