Q & A with Clarissa Wild

Q: Tell us a little bit about Grace and Finn.
A:
Grace still lives with her rich father who wants her to marry a guy of his choosing so he can expand his company. She doesn’t want this and tries to run, only to bump into Finn, a handsome, hardworking man who’s got some secrets of his own. They engage in a titillating romance and Grace will have to choose between Finn and her father.

Q: What is your favorite part about writing?
A:
Whenever I come up with a character, they come to live on paper during writing. It’s like they talk to me, have conversations together. This is how I get to know them and what sets them apart. I love diving into this little fantasy world.

Q: How long have you been writing, and when did you first consider yourself an author?
A:
I’ve been writing since forever, I think I was very young when I started. I considered myself an author from the moment I published my first book.

Q: What is the best advice you have been given?
A:
The best advice? Keep writing. Always keep writing, never give up, and publish as much as you can. That’s the surest way toward a writer’s life.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A:
At first I wanted to be a teacher, but when I grew up I started realizing I wanted to write. All I did was think of writing, make up stories, pen them down, even though I knew it would be hard to make this my profession. I tried doing other stuff, but I could never fully put my heart into it. My writing is my soul, this is what I’m meant to do.

Q: If you could be on one reality TV show, what would it be?
A:
The bachelor, definitely. Give me some of that hot, hunky love!

Q: What is the wildest thing you’ve ever done in your life that you’ll admit to?
A:
Despite my surname, I’m not actually a wild person. I think my most wildest years were actually when I was a teenager. At school, we used to put nasty stickers on lockers and draw dirty things on the toilet stalls. Yeah, it was kind of bad, but we had a good laugh.

Q: What book are you reading now?
A:
Books by Jasinda Wilder are my favorite and I’m not finished with all the series she’s put out yet, so I’m still reading those. Currently reading the preacher’s son series. I just love her writing!
