Only With You by Lauren Layne

Only with You (The Best Mistake, #1)Only with You by Lauren Layne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Only with You is a fun, witty, but train wreck waiting to happen kind of story. Who doesn't love that? I laughed, I cried and mostly shook my head at what I was reading. I loved it, and did not want to put it down. Who needs to cook, clean and pick up kids from school? Really!

Sophie Dalton is always the life of the party. She has made that her goal in life to the disappointment of her family. Her parents had high hopes for her to be a doctor or lawyer, but that wasn't in the cards for Sophie, who is currently a cocktail waitress. Not exactly what her parents want to tell their friends at the country club. While in Vegas for a bachelorette party, Sophle has a chance meeting with good-looking, uptight businessman, Grayson Wyatt, who thought she was a call-girl. Sophie was left both stunned and humiliated after that encounter, but it did make her re-think her career path or lack there of. Who would have thought Sophie would see Grayson again especially in Seattle? Now, he is her boss. How did that happen? Can they possibly leave the Vegas incident behind and have a smooth working relationship? Not if Sophie has anything to say about it.

This was a well-written Cotemporary Romance novel. Sophie is a sassy, fun-loving, people pleaser. Grayson is a social awkward executive, who feels comfortable in the board room. They both are emotional scarred people, but together sparks fly. I enjoyed the slow build of Sophie and Grayson's relationship. I will say this is my first time reading anything by Lauren Layne, but it will not be my last. I will be reading the next book Made for You. Can't wait! I highly recommend this book.
