"This was it. The moment Heaven and Hell would clash. But which unearthly being would win, the fallen angel or Hell’s hounds?
Overtaken by fear, I close my eyes.”
Kayson is a Fallen Angel who has spent decades running from the Hell Hounds while searching for something that no one else believes can be so, not even God. Kayson is determined to find a Blood Child. But when a hound finds Kayson first, he is sure his end has come.
Falon, Alpha of the Hell Hounds, destroyer of the blood children, and devoted believer in his master’s plan, is bound and determined to drag Kayson back to Hell with him.
Sabrina is a Vampire, a half-breed created from one of Lucifer’s original blood children. After years of hiding, Sabrina’s fate changes when she finds Kayson barely alive. Against her instincts, Sabrina saves him. Now she and Kayson are both marked by the Hell Hounds.
Emma is an ordinary human, whose only problem is making ends meet, and getting over the hurt caused by her untrustworthy brother. Her everyday problems become supernatural ones when she finds Kayson and Sabrina hiding in her parent’s backyard shed.
Kayson, Sabrina and Emma are unlikely allies, thrown together by chance to fight against the most powerful creatures of the underworld in order to follow their world-changing quest. But will the broken faith of one break the faith of all?

Falon, head of the hell hounds, has been desperately trying to hunt down Kayson and Sabrina but with the rain steadily falling—due to interference by the lower-realm Angels, also known as the assemblies—Falon grows irritated. His only option is to threaten those that may know where the fallen can be found.
With the threat of the hounds finding Kayson and the other fallen, Kayson is running out of time. Stille, once a respected Warrior in the assemblies, is pushing Kayson to leave an unconscious Sabrina behind. After all Sabrina has done for him, Kayson refuses to abandon her. But will his decision leave his friends vulnerable to attack?
Sabrina is conscious enough to sense the struggles that Kayson is facing. If he knew the torture she’s been going through, she knows he would suffer even more. Sabrina silently fights the darkness that is seeping into her dreams, while struggling to stay strong for Kayson. But when the pain becomes too much, Sabrina has to make a choice that may cost not only her life, but the lives of others as well.
Q & A with Brandy Nacole
Q: Tell us a little bit about your main characters.
A: In the Spiritual Discord Series there are four main characters: Kayson, Sabrina, Emma, and Falon. Kayson is a fallen angel who is running from the hell hounds while trying to prove his belief, even when no one else believes in him.
Sabrina is a vampire—a half blood—who has been on the run for decades. Not only are the hell hounds Sabrina’s enemy, but so are fallen angels. But when Sabrina stumbles across Kayson, beaten and on the brink of death, she makes a pivotal decision in her life, she extends her hand.
Emma is a regular human, with regular problems. That is until she discovers a pissed off Sabrina and a severely injured Kayson in her parent’s backyard shed. Emma tries to keep her friends from discovering the truth, but when the hell hounds come sniffing around, keeping them safe becomes difficult.
Falon is a hell hound, a ruthless leader, and will stop at nothing to find those he is meant to destroy. When Falon discovers Kayson is the one who killed one of his hounds and escaped, he becomes all too eager to begin the hunt for his former brethren.
Q: If you could be any character from your book, who would you be and why?
A: Sabrina. Not because she’s a vampire or immortal, but because she has a strong spirit. Even when facing horrible odds, Sabrina keeps her crap together and pushes on. She doesn’t cower to pressure or give in easily.
Q: What was your favorite scene to write?
A: There are so many scenes in Broken Faith and Raging Storm that I enjoyed writing, but I guess my favorite would be when Sabrina and Kayson begin to learn about one another. I loved writing their backstory and developing throughout the book.
Q: How long have you been writing, and when did you first consider yourself an author?
A: I have been writing since I was seven, though the stories I wrote then compared to now are very different :). My dream was always to be an author and finally one day, I took the leap and published my first book in 2012.
Q: What is your work schedule like when you're writing?
A: In one word: Hectic. I always try to set aside specific times to write, but with three young kids, a traveling husband, and doing odd jobs, keeping to any sort of writing schedule is near impossible. I write whenever I get the chance, which is normally at night.

Q: How has your environment/upbringing colored your writing?
A: It’s made it kind of difficult. My parents are very supportive, always have been, but they also worry about what others think of them. This is why it took me so long to publish to begin with. I was worried about what others would say, how I would handle it, and had a lot of doubt in myself. But now, I would not change taking that amazing step for anything!
Q: What is the best advice you have been given?
A: Never lose sight of what you want, for it is your dreams, your life.
Q: Who designs the covers for your books and what is that process like for you as an author?
A: CCR Book Cover Designs. Creating a book cover is a great experience. I love working with my designer, telling her my ideas, and working together until the final product is finished. It's invigorating to watch the idea come to life and to see my designers amazing talent shine. She really is amazing!
Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: An author. I can remember the first time an author came to my school and presented all his books. I was so enraptured and inspired. After his visit, I wrote my first story about a boy and his pet alligator.
Q: If you could be on one reality TV show, what would it be?
A: I don't watch a lot of reality TV shows, but I do like a good challenge, so if I was going to be chose for a show I would want to be on something like Survivor.
Q: What do you do to unwind and relax?
A: Besides reading, which I love, I’m also an avid outdoor lover. Being outside, playing sports, hiking and exploring is relaxing to me and I really enjoy it. It reboots my mind and body.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
A: Mykonos, Greece. I done a lot of research on Mykonos when writing Sacrifice: A New Dawn (Shadow World, 3) and fell in love with the city. It truly does look amazing!
Q: Hard/paperbacks or ebooks?
A: Although I buy a lot of ebooks, I prefer paperbacks. I love the feel of holding a book in my hands, smelling the pages, and eagerly turning the pages as the story builds. Yes, ebooks are more convenient, but sometimes you just have to have a moment of pure bliss.
Q: What book are you reading now?
A: Here recently I have been busy with doing the last proofreads for my latest novel, Raging Storm, so I haven't had a lot of time to read anything else. But now that I have a little free time I plan on reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth. Who's excited for the Divergent movie? This girl right here!

Brandy Nacole resides in Arkansas where her imagination runs wild. Her obsession is reading but her passion is writing. She put her dream of becoming a writer on the back burner and went to college to become a psychologist. Three years after endless classes in a field she only felt half satisfied with, Brandy picked up her pen once again and wrote the outline to Uniquely Unwelcome. She finished out her degree in psychology, but traded her dream of writing for the degree and put psychology on the back burner. Whenever she's not reading or writing, Brandy is spending time with her family and friends, throwing around crazy ideas, teaching , and singing like a rock star at a concert for no one else but herself. She loves plants, but unfortunately is a killer of anything that requires water but can't voice (scream) their needs.
She is the author of The Shadow World Series and The Spiritual Discord Series.
