Sapphire by Jeffe Kennedy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Taylor is a career woman. She is motivated, knows what she wants, and has a plan to get it. After a one-time fling with sexy, devilish Adam, Taylor tells herself it is over, but apparently no one gave Adam the memo. Confident and cocky, Adam has his sights set on Taylor and he is used to getting what he wants. Adam is definitely not your average sweet and sexy. He has a domineering side, and he is not afraid to use it.
Adam and Taylor have an incredible amount of passion and chemistry between them, and the interaction between then throughout the story is incredibly erotic. Taylor thinks she knows what she wants, but she is secretly fascinated by Adam's control over her – enough so that she decides to go with it and see where it leads. I think my favorite aspect of the novella is watching Taylor's change throughout the story, from cool and collected to sexual and sensual.
Just a note, I have read all three books in the Facets of Passion series, but they do not have to be read in order. They are made to read as stand-alone stories, but I would recommend all three.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
