Maxine Daniels was made an offer that she couldn’t refuse. She couldn’t think of a better time—after breaking things off with her fiancé—to change cities and merge her company with Saunders Literary Agency. At thirty-three, she isn’t getting any younger, so it’s time to start fresh and leave her past behind.

What she doesn’t anticipate is the diversion that lies ahead. Kyle Saunders is a catastrophic tsunami that enters her life and consumes her world in just a matter of minutes. Everything about him is telling her no, but her heart and the heat between her legs is screaming yes. He was never a factor in her divine plan—nor was she in his.

Kyle is the cliché bachelor; he is a twenty-four-year-old charismatic chick magnet who refuses to settle down. He’s dead set on living the carefree single life—that is—until Max comes strolling in. Then all his ridiculous rules fall to the wayside.

Who knew that just one hello could alter their lives forever?

Shevaun DeLucia, author of the Eternal Mixture series, lives in upstate New York with her husband, four children, and two dogs. As a stay-at-home mom while her children were young, she fell in love with reading. She indulged in the small moments that took her away from the reality of her loud, rambunctious household, bringing her into a world of fantasy. When reading wasn’t enough to satisfy her, she turned to writing, determined to create the perfect ending of her own.

Q & A with Shevaun DeLucia

Q:  Describe your ideal writing spot.
I love writing in bed and in my new mini-office. My oldest son likes to call it an “invisible cubicle.” Haha!

Q:  Who designed the covers for your book and what was that process like for you as the author?
George Parulski was the photographer/graphic designer for both of my books. Working with him is an experience I will always remember! He’s amazing! Did I mention he is amazing? Lol.

Q:  What is the best advice you have been given?
There are always people who would love to see you fail. Surround yourself with positive people and just go for your dream.

Q:  How do you keep busy when you're not writing?
I have four kids and a part-time job. That pretty much says it all.

Q:  If you could have any superhuman ability, what would you choose and why?
I would read minds like Edward Cullen! Who wouldn’t want to hear what everyone is thinking?

Q:  Which do you prefer: hard/paperbacks or ebooks?

Paperbacks.

Q:  What book are you reading now?
Fifty Shades Freed. I now see what the hype was about. It’s a great series.

One Less Warlock by Judith Post

One Less Warlock by Judith Post My rating: 4 of 5 stars I think it's hard in a short story to create a unique setting, characters, etc., and still get some sort of story line in. In One Less Warlock, Judith did an excellent job of molding the story in such a way that we got a taste of a distinct world and character personalities, and a complete story to go with it. In this short story Judith was able to pack in witches, vampires, a sexy Were, succubus, voodoo, murder, and mystery, all in only about 20 pages. Pretty amazing. I enjoyed the story and Babet, the main character, and am looking forward to more of her in the future. View all my reviews
