Crimson Midnight (Crimson Series #1):
Rose wants excitement, bright lights and late nights, but she gets more than she bargained for when she swaps her wholesome country life for the hustle and bustle of London.
The city night is home to hungry shadows, eager to consume her.
Rose discovers there is more to this world than what the mundane eye sees, and that she herself is a part of it. Unexpected friendships are forged and unwanted, sometimes dangerous, attractions flare.

London becomes a playground for magic, danger and supernatural threat. While her life, and those of who she loves, hangs in the balance, she must endeavour to embrace her new nature and assist in identifying the hidden threat before it succeeds in its dark purpose.
An Urban Fantasy filled with moon-praising, flat-dwelling vampires, chic corporate werewolves, bar-tending warlocks, ravenous demons and much, much more.

Crimson Darkness (Crimson Series #2):
London is in the grip of an unnatural darkness. Rose is in the grasp of an unrelenting power and Raven and Thistle, along with their supernatural allies, are battling to survive and find a way to restore their home city.

For the fey, the song remains the same. They must return the power to Faerie or die. Unfortunately for them, the task has been superseded by an even more important one - help save Earth or perish along with it!

For Rose, the stakes are even higher as she is forced to make a terrible deal that will damn her if she does and damn her if she doesn’t.
Now enemies must work together as allies if they are to save their worlds from an ancient threat…

 Coming September 1!

----------

Thank you, Raven, for meeting me for an interview.  I know you're very busy, so I won't take up too much of your time.

First question...be honest with me...what's it like being leader to the guys? What's your biggest challenge (besides Harold…oops, did I say that out loud?)

Raven: Honestly, my biggest challenge is to keep harmony within the pack, to keep my emotions in check, and those of the others. Everything I do reflects upon the pack. In a way I am constantly standing in for our Alpha, when he is not physically with us. Therefore, it is important that I separate leadership from friendship. To answer your first question, being leader of the guys is not as much fun as being their friend. With regards to Harold – I have a lot of respect for him.

What's the best part about being a werewolf? The worst?

Raven: The best part? When we visit the retreat in Wales. Running free, becoming one with nature…there really isn’t anything else like it. And being able to eat whatever I want without putting on any weight. The worst, in this day and age, is having to hide our true natures from the world.

Can I get personal with you? If not, just don't answer…but all the ladies out here are dying to know…have you ever had a girlfriend?

Raven: No. I’ve always been aware of my sexuality and don’t believe in lying to myself.

It doesn't seem that the werewolves and vampires interact much. What do you think of Roman and Thistle hanging out?

Raven: From your question I can see you haven’t read Amos Cassidy’s most recent record of the events in our world. I hear it’s available shortly. Things between the werewolves and vampires have become a lot more intimate.

With regards to Roman and Thistle hanging out, there would never be any issues. Way, way, way back in the day, yes, there probably would have been. But not now.

What was your first impression of Rose? What do you think of her now?

Raven: I’ve always felt comfortable around Rose. I think the feeling is mutual. She just has a very cool energy to her, despite everything she’s been through, and has yet to go through. She is one of the strongest women I know. She is a hero.

Okay, getting personal again…What is your idea of the perfect date?

Raven: Any date would be perfect if I could share it with my bond mate (Sighs). No matter where we were, what we were doing, I would just be happy to be with him…

What's on your iPod?

Raven: Bob Dylan and Queen right now. Blonde on Blonde and A Night at the Opera are two of my favourite album listens at the moment.

What's your favorite pizza topping?

Raven: Meatfeast! With extra bacon.

Thanks again for stopping by Raven. It's been a lot of fun!

One Less Warlock by Judith Post

One Less Warlock by Judith Post My rating: 4 of 5 stars I think it's hard in a short story to create a unique setting, characters, etc., and still get some sort of story line in. In One Less Warlock, Judith did an excellent job of molding the story in such a way that we got a taste of a distinct world and character personalities, and a complete story to go with it. In this short story Judith was able to pack in witches, vampires, a sexy Were, succubus, voodoo, murder, and mystery, all in only about 20 pages. Pretty amazing. I enjoyed the story and Babet, the main character, and am looking forward to more of her in the future. View all my reviews
